Elizabeth is a full time artist residing in the beautiful Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) on the Cornwall/Devon border. Her work is inspired by all of nature with her own unique idealised interpretation of the world.
Her work is fantasy like and illustrative reflecting the beauty she sees in the primitive & simple life. The work reflects this and her aim is to portray and bring joy in the smallest of creation, through faith, inspired ideas and an idealised view of the world she wishes to see. In addition to the natural beauty, she takes inspiration from faith, her spiritual view, dreams and meditation.
There are hidden meanings and positive messages in many of her paintings, some of these will be seen to the viewer on close inspection, others will only be known to the artist.
Elizabeth has been painting since childhood and has undertaken scholastic studies of Fine Arts during her teenage years to university level. Her work has developed into a style all of it’s own.
With gratitude, Elizabeth feels God has given her this ability, an
d her aim is to honour this with grace and create work that will bless those who see it and find joy in them. She believes that Love, Joy and Gratitude are the most important things we should take from this finite life we have been given here.
